How are we eco-friendly?

At Home Grown Nursery, every effort has been made to create a habitat in harmony with nature,
helping both our children and the environment. Our commitment to be as green as possible
covers every aspect. We do this in a number of ways:

Innovative teaching tools and communication encouraged via email or website to save paper.

Conservation and eco-friendly community projects.

Encouraging parents to participate in a conservation drive by planting a tree in the vicinity
of the nursery, to observe the dual growth process of their children and the plants

Use of non-toxic, eco-friendly toys and outdoor equipment made from sustainable materials.

Eco-friendly indoor flooring and safe, recycled rubber tyres for outdoor flooring.

Use of green cleaning products to maintain hygiene standards.

Efforts to exclude PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) plastic products.

An organic vegetable patch free from pesticides, fertilisers and other chemicals.

Low-flush toilets and energy-saving light bulbs.

Reduced waste by recycling paper, cans and glass and utilising
a compost pit for wet garbage that contributes to the organic garden.
