THE GREEN ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMME

Statutory Framework
At Home Grown Nursery, the six key areas of the Statutory Framework focus on giving your
child the best possible development in core abilities, valuable skills and overall well-being.
EXTRA CURRICULAR

As part of our quest to offer our children as many new experiences as possible, we have integrated a number
of extra curricular activities into our daily program. These activities include the following at no extra cost:

Little linguists

A fun and engaging series of daily
lessons in French and Arabic

BENDY BABIES

Relax and stretch – a unique program
which offers children the chance to tune
in to their bodies and minds

LITTLE GREEN FINGERS

Organic gardening activities where each
class is responsible for their own
vegetable patch

ROCK A BUBS

A fun class where children can move
to the rhythm of the jungle or relax
to the sounds of the rain forest

SPORTY SPRINGERS

Sessions which develop racket skills,
ball skills, circuit training and
co-ordination skills

MINI MONET

An introduction to famous artists and their
work, encouraging children to use art
as a form of expression

Lessons in conservation, preservation, saving rainforests, protecting
endangered species, composting, recycling and organic gardening.

Developing a keen interest and awareness of 'the cycle of life' through
daily discussions and activities that focus on different elements of nature.

Learning to embrace the simple joys of life; nature walks in the garden,
playing in the sand area, gardening in the nursery's organic patch
or sitting in outdoor quiet corners observing the natural surroundings.

Promoting a sense of balance, calm, concentration and most of all, overall health.

Exploring cultural and natural diversity.

Each child will be provided with a weekly class timetable of the activities and objectives
in order to encourage and support continued learning at home and familiarise parents
with their child's daily programme.
