Open Communication

We are deeply committed to honest, respectful, and heartfelt communication with every family. From daily conversations at drop off and pickup, to our secure parent’s app updates, termly reflections, and in-person meetings, we ensure you are always kept in the loop, not just about milestones and meals, but about how your child feels, interacts, explores, and thrives. We know that each child is unique, and so are their families. That’s why we value two way communication.

Your insights into your child’s personality, routines, and experiences help us create a more personalised, consistent, and nurturing environment in which they can truly feel seen and supported.

From the moment we walked into the Home Grown Safa branch we knew it was going to be a nurturing, inspiring and safe place for our son. For the past six years, Home Grown has been a second home to our children, and we couldn’t be more grateful. From the moment we first walked through the doors, we felt how special this place is. Homegrown has always gone above and beyond for all three of our children. The teachers and support staff are all well qualified, nurturing and consistently provide a stimulating and engaging environment. The beautiful garden is a particular highlight as well as weekly yoga sessions. That’s why our nursery is built on a foundation of love, trust, and compassion—values that flow through every part of our day, every relationship, every experience.

Sustainability

Our deep respect for the Earth is reflected in all we do. We believe children learn best when they are immersed in the natural world. Sustainability is not taught as a subject, but as a daily practice. Children recycle, compost, care for our gardens, and take part in eco-conscious activities that cultivate responsibility, empathy, and wonder.

By weaving environmental awareness into our curriculum, we help children build a lifelong relationship with the planet, grounded in love and gratitude.

Kindness, Compassion and Empathy

Our ethos centres around creating an emotionally safe environment—where children are not rushed, labelled, or expected to fit into boxes.

Instead, they are held gently and encouraged to grow at their own pace, supported by mindful educators who model kindness. Compassion and empathy.

We introduce calming rituals like mindfulness, gratitude circles, and gentle storytelling to help children develop inner calm and emotional awareness.
