Our approach to STEM for children aged 1–5 is play-based, hands-on, and grounded in nature. Whether it’s observing the life cycle of a butterfly, building simple machines from natural materials, or measuring water for a planting activity, our children explore real world concepts in age, appropriate, imaginative ways that spark wonder and critical thinking.
In addition to traditional STEM disciplines, our approach incorporates the human elements children need most:
S ocial Development building friendships and a sense of community.
T eamwork learning to collaborate and solve problems together.
E motions understanding and expressing feelings with empathy.
M indfulness cultivating curiosity, perseverance, and respect for the world around them.
This integrated, heart-led version of STEM supports not only how children think, but how they feel, connect, and grow. It deepens their relationship with the natural world, while preparing them with the skills and values to thrive in it.
Rooted in sustainability and guided by purpose, our Home Grown STEM journey is one of thoughtful discovery, meaningful connections, and joyful learning, growing strong minds, kind hearts, and bright futures.
